CONCERT: Coldplay - Head Full of Dreams Tour - Pasadena, CA
(Yes, over a month late)
Coldplay
Rosebowl, Pasadena, CA
Fri, Oct 6, 7PM
Capacity: 60k for concert, 92k for sports (wowwww)
We parked at the shuttle stop at the very north west of downtown Pasadena, left around 5:30 from there.
It took a while to get to the stadium, it's actually kind of nestled in the side of the mountain and it's pretty much all neighborhoods around it.
We walked back from the stadium to the parking lot and it took 25-35 mins?
Not bad but...bad lmao.
I might freaking pay $40 for parking next time.
Anyway, the show!

NOW PLAYING: Common Culture playlist - Courtship, Honne, Huntar, Lapsley, Reece
Oh my god I have not been keeping up so here's what I've been listening to today at least...
I've been stuck on Jai Wolf so I just picked some similar artists and ended up with this playlist.
I think this electronic, chill kind of music is pretty much the only kind that I'll go for with these kinds of playlists with the aesthetic covers and all that lmaoo
I will fill in the blanks of all the recent releases soon, like SVT, MX, SUJU, etc!
And recently listened to Mansionair, etc.
Courtship - Sail Away
Honne, Jones - No Place Like Home
Huntar - Blind Spot
Lapsley - Hurt Me
Reece - Lost in Translation
(If you click on the artist, I'm pretty sure it doesn't take you to the right artist page)

CONCERT: Young the Giant - Home of the Strange Tour - Irvine, CA
Erm...I am indeed posting this a month later lmao
Young the Giant
Fivepoint Amphitheatre, Irvine, CA
Thu, Oct 5, 7PM
Capacity: 12k
This concert was actually supposed to be in August but it got moved to October due to construction on the venue.
It was actually pretty terrible trying to get out of the venue with all of the unpaved lot; every car was covered in dust.
There was only one lane to the main road that took forever to get in and out.
But anyway.
Sir Sly and Coldwar Kids opened the show.
We were too late for Sir Sly so we just walked around the grass outside of the bleachers.
There's a huge setup of tents for food, just one merch stand and a ton of smaller carts.
There were also tables and games on the grass.
The venue's pretty nice but I don't really like outdoor venues as much hehe.
(My pictures also come out extra bad lmao)
Hmmm Coldwar Kids were alright, I didn't realize I only knew two songs hahha.
Pretty good though.

NOW PLAYING: MONSTA X
Monsta X - The Code, mini album
The title track, DRAMARAMA took some getting used to but I think it got better the more I listened to it.
The album actually wasn't very memorable to me but I'll have to get back to it later on.

NOW PLAYING: Seventeen, Super Junior
Seventeen - Teen, Age, the 2nd album
I feel like the album kind of lost listening momentum for me because I've heard a few of them with the pre-release mvs and they're probably the better tracks too.
Overall the album is okay but those pre-release tracks were really good.
The title song Clap has a strong rock element and ofc the choreo is really cool.
I got a big shock in the mv when scoups is center and...yeah, wow
Super Junior - PLAY, the 8th album
The title song Black Suit is good, it feels very Super Junior to me.
I really really like the prechorus.
The song is just fun and upbeat like a lot of their title songs that I like.
The only song that I check marked was One More Chance, which is actually a ballad-type thing.
Apparently I really like some of their ballad songs too.
It's really cool to see the previously enlisted members back since they were enlisted when I started listening to them lmao.

MISC: BTS - Love Yourself 承 'Her'
So I took a trip to Best Buy because I was driving home near one and I figured they might carry the album there.
But I was kind of kicking myself when I parked in the lot because I checked online and it said that only a store in Chino had the album on display.
I went in anyway because I thought I could take a look at some cameras and maybe buy one for travel in the future.
But I literally could not stop thinking about the album so I went to the music section anyway.
I almost missed it at first because at first glance I thought it was one of those white dividers between artists.
It was the freaking last album.
I was on the server freaking out about it and literally pacing back and forth trying to decide whether I should buy it.
I left for a bit but idk I just couldn't leave it there so I bought it.
And got a Namjoon photocard, L Version.
Which I already have so I decided to give the album away~
