NOW PLAYING: BTS, NU'EST, Seventeen

I fell into a kpop obsession since the beginning of 2016. It started with kdrama marathons during winter break and somehow I watched some music videos and the rest is history. 

It went like this: Super Junior, CNBlue, Big Bang, BTS, EXO, Winner, Seventeen, Nu'est, iKon, Epik High. I think my overall favorite so far is BTS though. They're all cute. Especially V and Suga. And I basically watch videos of them or listen to their music every day. I don't even watch TV shows or movies anymore. WHAT.

BTS - "Butterfly", this might've been the first song that I listened to when I looked them up the first time after hearing "Run". My favorite so far.


This is like BTS rando cinematic promotion video "prologue" thing for the last two (?) mini albums and I watched this when I first started listening and didn't know all their names...can I just say I learned a bunch of groups names like nobody's business...Anyway I'm watching it again right now and I'm just like WOW. It was so pretty and I'm just fan girling all over the place. SO HAPPY to watch these.

Anyway. I admit it, I bought physical copies of their albums. I think I was inspired by my friend to just do what you want, get what you love, and I like collecting things. Please don't let it get out of hand. I kind of want to buy the Seventeen albums, though. We'll see! Oh yeah I'm actually waiting for something to arrive in the next few weeks teeheeeeee

I keep saying I need to get out of this kpop obsession but it has actually been very interesting to learn about the Korean culture and fun to see fan reactions and watch the group behind the scenes videos and whatnot. It's just fuuuuun. I miss music in English though. But I am open to learning Korean (omg). Sigh. A fan can dream. Also I basically made a twitter just to follow groups. And basically use my instagram to check too. They're really cute, okay.

Right now I'm listening to Epik High and it seemed like a good time to update the blog so here I am!

Can Spotify please get Seventeen and Nu'est though...

A friend showed me this video yesterday and it kind of messed me up. In a good way. It's also just really beautiful. I don't know if I'm trippin' or what but there's a dreamlike quality to it that I like.

Seventeen - "Mansae" Okay so they're probably all younger than me but this is just so cute and their performances are fun cuz they change up the songs and dance all the time. Impressive. And cute. Please don't put them in school uniforms anymore. They also have a pretty boy with long hair.


Nu'est - "Overcome" this album was released like yesterday or something. I was like meh at first but I dig it. All of it. THE PRETTY ONE WITH THE LONG HAIR is even better with short hair. Okay. Fan girling.
